That is who I am by SteffyPop

I want you to think of the times you looked at me and felt zero attraction,
the way I looked before,
bent down, silly smile, uncertain posture and hands unnaturally fumbling
allover the tarmac of my neglected belly.

I want you to remember me like that.
For now that I radiate
I can’t suddenly be forgotten by you and be made a hero
when the pity you felt towards me is still my history.

I want you to remember me as that moment in time when I was almost a creep
I want you to remember how I looked in your eyes.
Because that is who I am.

It doesn't get better it only gets worse (or) An argument against suicide by SteffyPop

There stands a celebrity on a stage and says it gets better
In all his gay glory he holds the Oscar saying it gets easier
What he fails to tell, however, is that it doesn’t get better
It only gets worse

The point against suicide isn’t as much about ending it
It’s that you don’t end it – if you don’t know you end it
The only way to know for sure is to take it with you
End what is ending you

It doesn’t get better certainly, it only gets worse

What used to be the sweet innocent observation
Of a little child’s passionate optimism
Is a bitter cry of a degrading body
Destroying everyone’s mood

Yeah you can do what you want
But you can’t do anything because it’s worse
To hear the squints of a crowd of peers
Than was the shouting finger of your parent

It’s even worse being a fag, a nigger, a gypsy
Because life in this place keeps serving
The real tea to the real tiers and reality
To the rest of the rust

That surely doesn't get better.

All these emancipations are in vain
When still the scars of inheritance
Forces you back to the woods and toilets
Back into lack of self, and search for others

It gets a whole lotta things, but better it doesn’t get

Isn’t it also funny how they always pick those on top
? The gutter-crawlers who came from dirt to hold that
Oscar. Forgetting and forgetful of the uncomfortable
Fact that most of us really are mediocre and even
Bad.

You have to make it and you should cause it gets better
so don’t complain just do it believe in yourself work
hard be patient and don’t give up see how he made it he’s
holding an Oscar and look at Oprah and orphans adopted by them.

They all say they worked hard.
All also add they were lucky
And if it’s luck it’s about
Then some will get bad luck

So it doesn’t get better or easier
Because you need luck for it
And as you might have already asked
Why the fuck should you get it?

You might say society doesn’t boil down to luck
After all we treat those unlucky enough to get cancer
But for the rest, and as a part of how much worse it gets
It’s about where you live who you fuck what you do

So if it only gets worse, don't think you end anything
Without ending it by ending your own life
No stay here and suffer and try to make
Everyone else realize how shit life is

Life isn't a miracle it's a curse
Earth is hell. Being alive is to suffer.
It doesn't get better. It only gets worse.
Most have bad luck. Luck. Luck. Fuck

Repeat this last bit as many times as you need.

Att söka jobb vid 30 års ålder - en reflektion av SteffyPop

Mitt I denna högt trafikerade livets vägkorsning
står de likt profeter
och säger att det finns där jobb
som ska förmå att
göra mig förmögen
åtminstone mätt.

Men de ger ångest med sina möjligheter
som aldrig uppfylls men
likväl står starkt som ända hopp
och jag pallar snart inte mer
för jag kan ju så mycket mer
men jag vet inte

Vad de vill?
Att jag ska sitta och öva
på tålamod och vemod
ej underjord eller övermod
detta eviga illasittande arbetsliv
som dessutom kliar likt löss
som lämnar ärr

Men jag vet snart inte längre
huruvida jag är smart
eller bara inbillat mig
att jag någonsin varit det
för betygen till trots
så kan jag inte slåss.

Happiness serves hardly any other purpose than to make unhappiness possible.

Game over by SteffyPop

Game over us the impossible ones!
- the Two, the months of seconds
We had it coming, I’d known to see it
-we disregarded and found noth in it
Beyond all reasons, the simmer dusts
-thought love forever was building us
Til that newly won alike bitter reality
-tore up the wish of us haven’t been
And boiled up the sugar carbon sweet
-and woke us up to our defeat

It’s better than, what better be
-is it aversion, we now will see?
Farewell my friend, my wish for love
-be home again, with other ones
I bare no hate and kind of heart

-I wish I’d known this from the start
