This often reaches the politically schooled and privileged people, and can today not be used as an effective weapon for reaching out to, in particular, the young generation. The queermovement can on the other hand use the Pop-culture as a medium and weapon. The widespread popularity of popculture (it´s name is "popular" DUH!) among people makes it a stage on which you can reach out the so called "general masses".

The more people queerify the public place and profile themselves on internet and via different popcultural channels, the more the society will bloom and go our way :)

I stumbled upon this crazy CRAZY website where you can play all kinds of sexgames (created for heterosexual men of course but anyway...). Many games on this website have a very open rape-profile: you can rape different girls in many ways. It's ridiculously obvious and clear to ALL of mankind what kind of world we live in. I could understand that certain people have a fetisch for these....things, but when almost EVERY fucking game has this profiling it tells me something else....it becomes a mirror...a reflection....a voice that tells us what the world looks like from above.

I hate bloggs and bloggers.....one day we'll all regret this progress. When feelings and emotions get digitalized, and faces of humans are limited to screens....we'll miss the days when a simple touch from another human was enough to relieve all bad; when you were not alone.

The rest of us are supposed to invert ourselves in to "normal" people (meaning not shining)...

It's very peculiar how the world functions, and how we function. The need for "normality" to rule and control us aesthetically forces us in to a machinery that is very lucrative for the society, but not for the individuals. You can easily control a horde of people through "normalizing" them, and through this creating a "sacred" middle, a safety line.

But who has the right to aesthetics? People or certain people? Is glitter more pretty on a celebrity than on anyone else?

So what I want to say to fabulosity is:

Scartissue Magazine, HBC and little me :) are having a "Cultural Day" at HBC:s AMAZING space!

There will be 2 concerts (singer/songwriter and Noise), 2 videoprojections, MY wonderful performance :), different photo-exhibitions, installations, DJ:s, games and lots and lots of humour and fun!

The (very widespread haha) theme is "Can you love me even though...", and the result will be this very amazing (hopefully) day 14/3 14th of March 100314 140310...............FOURTEEN DAYS AFTER THE FIRST OF MARCH :)

MASCULINITY PART 1

The staged masculinity has different rules and conditions. Many can be named.....but it can be especially interesting to study a few...

I can often think about Sports and Nationalism.....and Masculinity...

Football (Soccer) is a perfect example. This sport is a world wide connection between people but also a release for nationalist, masculin pressure. Football/Soccer, in fact, is a playful staging of fake identities. And most certainly when you speak about the followers, the fans.....all the people that identify themselves through fotball...through belonging to a team....or to a national team....

When I speak about this, I focus particularly on the young men who express their love for the group (the "team") through activism, hooliganism and drunken disruptional behaviour. And, just for a moment....try to REALIZE the fact that this is a game....with intentionally created teams, team-colors, names, symbols, songs....myths... This, in certain crowds of young men (in particular), means everything....this is their identity!!! It becomes a tradition, and becomes normalized in future generations of young boys....and what will the sport mean in 500 years? How deep will the traditions get rooted? Will the teams get more power than they are supposed to have?

Instead of war, football has become a way to conquer pride....and respect as a nation. In 1954, for example, there was a very important game held in the World Champion football-competitions, West Germany VS. Hungary... Germany won that game, thereby winning the title of world champions. This, after World War 2 was a HUUUUGE "rise-up" for the entire German population...the only thing the country (left in pieces) could joy themselves over was this victory.

OMFG you guys just HAVE to see this movie in 3D! I went and saw it with Petra and Franco (for Francos birthday that we kind of celebrated one month before its actual date, but he's gonna be in Argentina then and Petra lives in Sweden....this was our only opportunity)...

The movie was AMAZING! Eventhough the story was not so amazing and some details were getting on my nerves (like the fact that the Alien-creatures in the movie were portrayed as colonialist versions of "savages" living on Earth) the movie was really awesome! I still can't believe what i saw (remember I saw it in 3D).....the effects and the amazing photography really leave an impression on the spectator...and isn't that reason enough to go see it?????

My friend Petra came to Berlin today from Sweden... Now the triangle is complete. Me, Franco and Petra sharing, not just the fact that we all are friends, but also the common memories that we have, as a trio.

* Go to the Bürger-thing and register myself as living in Berlin (oops)!

* Fix furniture....for my room...now I live like a refugee (and I know cause I was once one)...

While living in Sweden, I just like everyone else, followed "Big Brother" like crazy! However......that was a long time ago, and I haven't thought of it ever since! BUT! My roomie Son watches the spanish version "Gran Hermano" every day, since her frinds sister is among the top three finalists right now! And being, alittle bit, exposed to this....I kind of miss Big Brother and all the drama that happened!

Especially since there is a lesbian, complicated, relationship between Sarah and Veronica in the italian "Grande Fratello" (Son showed it to me)... I am sick! My whole throat is swollen, and I think I'm gonna die! Why does this happen to me? Why does this ALWAYS happen to me???? I went to the doctor today and he said (after checking me for max. 5 minutes) that it's either tonsillitis, glandular fever or throat abscess! He gave me antibiotics and sent me home, if things don't get better in 5 days, I'm gonna have to go back to the doctors!

This "staying-at-home-experience" means that I'll have a lot of time for expressing myself in the blogg!

Today, in Görlitzer Park, a huge snowball war was held between Neukölln and Kreuzberg! After the snowball war (I "missed" it and came for the afterparty) there was a party held outside in the middle of the park, berlinish style of course - 100 people bunmping up and down in the snow to hard techno music.

Before that me and Anna went to HBC and their fleamarket-thing they got going on... I was not so impressed, after paying 2 Euros in the door to see that the fleamarket actually was a "6-tables with 10 things on each table"-event....that was dull. Anyway, if more people were to be interested in selling their trash (one mans trash is another mans treasure)on HBC, vielleicht, would that make it better? That and the immediate cancellation of the entry fee, people come there to MAYBE get out of there with one or two things....so just dump it!

On the bright side, I really like the concept, with a combination of hip techno music, caféteria, performances and "fleamarket", that makes it an unfinished masterpiece!

My first thought was, of course "Wow! That's really perceptive! Finally someone writes about destinations for gays!".....until I kept on reading.

I'm not going to discuss this....just post the whole article as it is.....it speaks for it self unfortunately. And the person who can find out where gay people are even metioned in the text, gets a blowjob from mr. O'Leary himself!
