The Left today is centered around an ativist (sometimes violent) culture that demands and does things for specifik purposes. This often reaches the politically schooled and privileged people, and can today not be used as an effective weapon for reaching out to, in particular, the young generation. The queermovement can on the other hand use the Pop-culture as a medium and weapon. The widespread popularity of popculture (it´s name is "popular" DUH!) among people makes it a stage on which you can reach out the so called "general masses".
The more people queerify the public place and profile themselves on internet and via different popcultural channels, the more the society will bloom and go our way :)
