The 14th of March at HBC......the date....the place....

Scartissue Magazine, HBC and little me :) are having a "Cultural Day" at HBC:s AMAZING space!

There will be 2 concerts (singer/songwriter and Noise), 2 videoprojections, MY wonderful performance :), different photo-exhibitions, installations, DJ:s, games and lots and lots of humour and fun!

The (very widespread haha) theme is "Can you love me even though...", and the result will be this very amazing (hopefully) day 14/3 14th of March 100314 140310...............FOURTEEN DAYS AFTER THE FIRST OF MARCH :)

MASCULINITY PART 1

The staged masculinity has different rules and conditions. Many can be named.....but it can be especially interesting to study a few...

I can often think about Sports and Nationalism.....and Masculinity...

Football (Soccer) is a perfect example. This sport is a world wide connection between people but also a release for nationalist, masculin pressure. Football/Soccer, in fact, is a playful staging of fake identities. And most certainly when you speak about the followers, the fans.....all the people that identify themselves through fotball...through belonging to a team....or to a national team....

When I speak about this, I focus particularly on the young men who express their love for the group (the "team") through activism, hooliganism and drunken disruptional behaviour. And, just for a moment....try to REALIZE the fact that this is a game....with intentionally created teams, team-colors, names, symbols, songs....myths... This, in certain crowds of young men (in particular), means everything....this is their identity!!! It becomes a tradition, and becomes normalized in future generations of young boys....and what will the sport mean in 500 years? How deep will the traditions get rooted? Will the teams get more power than they are supposed to have?

Instead of war, football has become a way to conquer pride....and respect as a nation. In 1954, for example, there was a very important game held in the World Champion football-competitions, West Germany VS. Hungary... Germany won that game, thereby winning the title of world champions. This, after World War 2 was a HUUUUGE "rise-up" for the entire German population...the only thing the country (left in pieces) could joy themselves over was this victory.

Her new album "Soldier of Love" is so fucking fantastic! And the hit song from the album is really really really really really fucking good!

MY FUCKING GOD THAT'S COOL!

OMFG you guys just HAVE to see this movie in 3D! I went and saw it with Petra and Franco (for Francos birthday that we kind of celebrated one month before its actual date, but he's gonna be in Argentina then and Petra lives in Sweden....this was our only opportunity)...

The movie was AMAZING! Eventhough the story was not so amazing and some details were getting on my nerves (like the fact that the Alien-creatures in the movie were portrayed as colonialist versions of "savages" living on Earth) the movie was really awesome! I still can't believe what i saw (remember I saw it in 3D).....the effects and the amazing photography really leave an impression on the spectator...and isn't that reason enough to go see it?????

MENAGE A TROIS

My friend Petra came to Berlin today from Sweden... Now the triangle is complete. Me, Franco and Petra sharing, not just the fact that we all are friends, but also the common memories that we have, as a trio.

Petra fulfills the childish, sissy, girly edge of the triangle. Let's call it the coral/orange corner.

Franco fulfills the humorous, sensual-erotic and multifaceted edge of the trianle. Let's call it the barbiepink corner.

I..... well I guess there would be no triangle without me... But the fulfillment I get from these people is amazing :)

But we all come in different shapes...and formations...so this triangle in particular is, maybe, just one of the many forms and constellations that I/(all of us) have in my life...

Maybe I'm gonna have a monogamous relationship in the future, and thus form another constellation...

Maybe I'll be alone one day.....

Maybe I'll have five kids one day......and form a different connection...
